There are 36 million South Africans that use the internet as at January 31st, 2020, being over 60% of the population, moving forward the digital economy.

The Digital Economy is a reality to everyone in South Africa, with retail industry leading in ensuring everyone is online. From June to August 2020, the Retail industry sold goods worth R215 Billion, and assuredly a bulk of this has come from digital transactions and were marketed by outlets and chain stores via Social Media, as much as physical.
